Megan + Jacob + Hayden | Boise Family Photographer

Get ready…

to meet…

…Hayden!!

Enter Jacob and Megan (recently engaged!)….and let the fun begin!

This little boy is lucky. He is surrounded with so much love.

Speaking of love….why is it that kids love blue snow cones so much?! (Yep, Hayden got a cool treat for being such an awesome sport)

Whoa, too much cuteness in one family… right?!

Jacob and Megan are recently engaged!

And speaking of love….I can’t help but wonder–why do kids love blue snow cones so much?!

Christian + Chelsea (more!) ♥ Boise Engagement Photographer

Lately I’ve been finding that it is easiest to do a short sneak peak for my clients right away. Once I’ve finished editing their images I end up going back and doing a second, more thorough post. That said, some of these images may be familiar, but many are hot off the photoshop press!

Chelsea and Christian were about as easy going as it gets. When I arrived to the park they were juggling oranges… and so we began our shoot with silly images…which completely disolved any nerves. (Although, this couple was so laid back the whole time they just might be the nerve-free type). We caught some really lovely evening light and had a great time getting such a wide array of fun photos. In the middle of winter I’ll be aching for a warm, glowing evening photoshoot just like this one.

And I will also be aching to head to Panama to documenting their April beach wedding…

AJ’s Homecoming Surprise | Boise Lifestyle Photographer

About a month ago (yes, I’m a bit behind with my blogging) AJ came home for a 2 week leave from his Tour in Iraq. Andrea, his wife, had me come out to the airport to get shots as they saw each other for the first time in 9 months. If you missed that post, you can see it here. The next day they planned out a surprise for their two girls. I am a huge fan of surprises so I just had to be there!

Andrea took their two daughters to Settler’s Park in Meridian to hang out and eat lunch. AJ waited across the playground and then made his way over to them…. It was incredibly cute. They didn’t see it coming at all — it was a total shock to see their dad before their eyes when they thought he was still overseas. Such a fun moment to capture for this family. Enjoy!

Best Urban Escape. MK Nature Center.

It’s true! You will find nature here.

Early one morning I went to the MK Nature Center hoping to find some early risers out enjoying a summer morning. Instead, I was greeted by a rather suspicious skunk. I left.

I returned during an evening where I got to see a crane (it was high up on a telephone pole, and my weak lenses do the trick) and some amazingly huge fish (sturgeon, I believe).

I’m still hoping to see a mink there one day. Has anyone ever seen a mink there??
