Dylan + Sara | Sneak Peek

Last Friday, Dylan and Sara had a cozy, intimate, wintry wedding. We started at Modern Bar, then wound our way over to Simplot Hill. After winding our way back towards the freeway we were off to Brick 29 for the ceremony.

There were lots of handmade touches (watch for the photo of the narwhal Sara made to be Dylan’s boutonniere!), unique details (their guest book was a matted illustration rather than a photo) and plenty of laughter. Plus, Sara and Dylan looked impeccable in their classic attire. But all that said, this was a wedding that was relaxed and joyful above all else.

Going back to the details though, Sara is amazingly crafty. Check out her adorable felted creations at her Etsy shop – I Felt Fuzzy.

2010 Restaurant Guide

Yesterday I emailed in some photos from Meadowlark Farm in Nampa for an upcoming Boise Weekly story (I’ll post those photos once that article runs). Boise Weekly’s Art Director, Leila Ramella-Rader, emailed back with such a flattering compliment:

“You should make a book on Idaho farmers. Seriously. Or have a show.”

Thank you Leila! Truth be told, I think she is right….

Oh 2010, I do believe you are going to be filled with many farm adventures for me.

Know a farmer? Or local farm? Please post a comment or send me an email with any tips or leads.
